Top 10 Makeup Products Under $10

I have put together a list of the best ten makeup products that are affordable, why?

I LOVE makeup. What I don’t love is spending hundreds of dollars on makeup. I’m sure many of you can agree with me on that one.

Don’t you hate receiving those newsletters from Ulta or Sephora and seeing just how much everything costs? From a single palette coming in at around $50 or concealer for $24. Let’s be clear, it is not cheap to look this good.

Before you blow your entire check updating your makeup bag, look into saving money on your favorite makeup items by switching over to the drugstore more affordable option.

I’ve compiled for you 10 makeup products under $10. Tried and tested by yours truly.

Let’s get straight into it.

  1. Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer– $5.99

I decided to give this concealer a try after watching a YouTube video from Tati Westbrook, a beauty influencer who described this particular concealer as a dupe for the Tarte Shape Tape. I have never been a fan of full-coverage concealers but this one did not disappoint. It is AH-MAZING. What makes it even better is that it is 1/5th the price of the Tarte concealer and it lasts forever. I totally recommend this concealer over any other one I’ve ever tried.

2.  Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder – $5.99

Laura Mercier who? If you bake regularly, and I don’t mean brownies, you will fall in love with this loose powder. They have it in two different shades and it can be used for baking, which is the way I prefer to use it, or all over the face. It has a pleasant smell and more importantly, a pleasant price tag. It is a cult favorite and I definitely see why.

3. Essence Lash Princess Mascara– $4.99

If you are personally not a fan of false lashes, the best mascara out there can cost you a few extra dollars. Luckily, I have tested out plenty of them throughout my makeup journey and I found that expensive does not always equal good quality. I have tried them all, from Lancome to Loreal and I have found that this $5 essence mascara is the best of them all. Not only does it make your eyelashes extremely long, but it is also volumizing and curling. A win, win, win.

4. Wet N Wild Megaglo Highlighter– $4.99

Do you like to shine like the glowing goddess you are? That’s what I thought. This highlighter is probably one of the best powder highlighters I’ve used. It’s the perfect blend of gold and pink undertones and it reminds me of the consistency of the Becca highlighters. It will look good on many different skin tones and makeup looks, not to mention it’s under $5!

5. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream– $3.25 (Sale) Reg. $6.50

If you’re a fan of nudes this one will be your friend. This soft matte collection from NYX Cosmetics has some of my favorite nudes in it. The consistency is a bit dry which takes getting used to but overall this lip cream is super wearable with most looks, looks good on the “no makeup makeup” days and they have different shades that can match so many different skin tones. I totally recommend it as an everyday lip product.

6. NYX Micro Brow Pencil– $7.39

If your budget does not allow you to invest in the Anastasia Brow Wiz, or if you’re just not as high maintenance as a $20 eyebrow product would require you to be, this is a great alernative. I have been using this particular eyebrow pencil because it is very reminiscent of the brow wiz, the spooly is very good quality and does not shed hair, and the color of the pencil itself is very natural looking. Say goodbye to red or orange brows. Eyebrow products tend to be a bit more on the expensive side so this is a nice purchase for under $10.

7. NYX Matte Liquid Eyeliner– $4.89

Whether you are a fan of winged eyeliner or you simply need to hide that false lash band, this eyeliner will do the job. Keep in mind this is not a pen eyeliner, it is a brush tip and it is a very fine and liquid-y product. If you are inexperienced with using liquid eyeliner this could prove to be a bit of a struggle for you, but with a little bit of practice this might be one of the best affordable eyeliners out there. I’ve tried every eyeliner possible as I frequently wear a winged eyeliner look and this is by far my favorite without breaking the wallet.

8. Milani Baked Blush– $6.97

This is a cult favorite and I’m sure you’ve read about it and heard about it from every beauty influencer out there but it’s true. This luminescent blush acts as both a blush and a blush topper by giving you this healthy, peachy glow. It’s tried and tested by many and can compliment many different skin tones, although it does tend to work better for those of a fair complexion so if you’re rocking that summer tan or naturally have an olive skin tone this might not be the choice for you. Don’t fret, Milano offers other shades that are just as great and will work for as a great blush for darker skin tones.

9. Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless– $5.64

Although I have been a huge fan of BB creams lately, I seem to always come back to this foundation. I’ve been using it for over 6 years and it is still my favorite. The Matte+Poreless just does it for me. It isn’t super matte to where you look dead and dried out like a raisin, but it does keep you shine-free for hours. It is medium coverage and works great on oily skin, a deciding factor for me as I am a grease ball. It works well with other products and does not break me out which is big plus. I stand by this foundation and the powder of this same collection and they are my everyday staples.

10. Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Bronzer– $7.44

I’m sure you’ve heard about this product just about everywhere. This is by far the best bronzer I’ve ever used, both high-end and drugstore. Physician’s Formula really outdid themselves. This is a blendable, creamy, bronzey product that will make you look like you just got back from a week-long vacation in the Bahamas. It works so well on top of my foundation, does not look muddy and blends in super easily. I use it as both contour and bronze and it transforms the way my make up looks. I cannot recommend this product enough. It is typically over $10, however, there are sales more frequently than there aren’t and you can score it for up to 50% off if you wait on a good deal.

Alright lovelies, that is all for this product rant. If you have any recommendations on products that I should try out that are affordable leave it in the comments and I’ll be sure to look into them. Let’s spread this affordable beauty!
